It is a very special assignment, this is the second time I took foreigner photo, Yaqi, who from China and now based in singapore. Yaqi and Sim travelled a long way back to Alor Setar, having their wedding there, and to my surprises most of their friends from Sinagore also followed them back and support, this is indeed a real and true friend spirits.

First time I travelled to Alor Setar alone myself, somemore at night time, lucky I got GPS which help me not lost in this city, the firts night is the prayer night, which followed the traditional “pai ti kong”….


The ceremony started off with nice fireworks which i feel glad that i got captured the nice fireworks in front of Sim house.

It took about one hour shooting for the ceremony, then I drove back to Penang and get ready for the next day full day shooting….(that night I slept less than 3 hours)

After the tea ceremony, i still had some spare time before the dinner, so I decided to take some window shopping and find a place to buy a big cup of coffee, I went the big M to had a meal first as I know later I will not take any food during the assignment. After that I went to Sunway shopping Mall and get my coffee at the starbuck and do some window shopping there about 20 minutes. Then I took off to the dinner venue, the Safari club house which is just opposite the Penang Bird Park.

This is a nice place and huge, which is good to contains more tables… The decoration also quite nice.

Off topic, I met a old friend here, Riko, with her boy boy….you see they are so lovely, hug so tight on each other!

Here I wish Beng Nie and Leng Yaw loving each other forever and caring all the time.

Thanks to Beng Nie, very beautiful bride who made my job very easy, cincai shot also get pretty photos… Her sister is a Make Up artist, so nice to have her sister help, Beng Nie got her make up done nicely. For those who looking for MUA also can contact me.

If you look at these photos, you will realize how important is a wedding to a woman. You can feel the happiness, the excited feeling and the sweet expression on them.

The whole journey from the bride house to the groom house took almost 2 hours…

After that we went to their new sweet home and we complete the day session there, their new home is amazing, nicely renovated which is absolutely big enough for a small family.
